The hardest part about becoming a surrogate mother is making the mental and emotional decision to do so. Once you've done that and are 1000% sure that this is the best decision you've ever made, then the rest is easy breezy.

In a nutshell, the first thing you'll do is complete a short pre-application, which will be reviewed for the basic requirements we're looking for in a surrogate. If all checks out, then you will be contacted for a 15-30 minute telephone interview within 24-48 hours of your application. And after the interview, if we both agree to move forward, then we will proceed with your paperwork, pre-screening process, and matching phase.

Our goal is to have you matched within as little as a few weeks of submitting your initial application. However, this can vary greatly based upon both the Intended Parent's needs as well as your own. It's important to match you only with like-minded individuals in order to increase your chances of a smooth and enjoyable surrogacy journey. Therefore, this process could take up to 3-6 months or so before you're actually matched with your ideal parents.

We offer a fast-track intake bonus of $300 should you get through the pre-screening process within 7 days (ie., complete full profile, submit all requested paperwork, medical records, etc.). This is paid once you're formally committed and matched with Intended Parents. We also offer referral bonuses starting at $1,000 should you refer qualified friends who are also matched AND become pregnant through our surrogacy program. This is paid within 4-6 weeks of a confirmed viable pregnancy for your referral. We offer other additional incentive opportunities to compensate our surrogates very well.

In addition to the internal, personal satisfaction you'll receive from becoming a surrogate mother, you would also benefit monetarily as well. All surrogates are paid a base compensation of $25,000 + $9,500 in additional benefits (which can slightly vary) - even more for experienced surrogates and other unexpected circumstances. You have the freedom to be flexible with your base fee as well (you can request less or more). Furthermore, you're compensated for lost wages in connection with this journey; embryo transfers; multiples; maternity clothes; child care; and even housekeeping ... just to name a few.

All of your expenses are paid, including any medical expenses, travel expenses, legal expenses, medical/life insurance expenses, and so forth. The Application Process

Basic Requirements:

​

• Enjoys being pregnant

• You must be at least 21-45 years old with at least one healthy pregnancy and child of your own;

• Is not afraid of needles/injection medications

• A healthy, non-smoker;

• Does not use any illegal substances or excessive alcohol;

• Have not had any new tattoos or piercings in the past six (6) months;

• Able to pass a criminal background check;

• Financially stable;

• Has a BMI of 32 (no more than 33) click here to check your BMI;

• Has a great support system behind you

• Resides in a surrogacy-friendly state (may NOT reside in DC, MI, NJ, NY, WA unless willing to travel for delivery)

Pre-Screening: During the pre-screening phase, our team will give you a call within 2 business days to discuss your pre-application, your ideal Intended Parents, your expectations, as well as answer any questions or concerns that you may have. We will also request additional information from you, including a fully complete profile with a photo, a copy of your medical records, authorization to complete a background check, as well as some medical and psychological screening. If all checks out, then you will move on to the matching phase. This process can take up to 3-4 weeks depending on how fast we receive the necessary information requested.

The Matching Process

​

During the matching phase, our Surrogate Coordinator will thoroughly examine both your requirements for Intended Parents, as well as their requirements for a surrogate, and based on these details, will give you a call once a potential match has been found. Additionally, our Intended Parents may also request to match with you, at which point, we would contact you to see if you are interested. If so, we'll arrange an informal conference call for all parties, and if that goes well, we will then arrange a face-to-face meeting for you. As long as everyone agrees that this is the perfect match, then we'll get started with contracts and go from there.

The Medical Process

​

Once contracts are signed, you will be scheduled for your initial consultation at the fertility clinic. You will be placed on a strict regimen to begin taking medications, cycling, and so forth. Within a couple of months, you will be ready for your first (and hopefully, your only) embryo transfer. During this time, and for obvious reasons, you may be restricted from having sexual intercourse with your spouse. After the transfer, you may be required to continue certain medications, and possibly even be restricted to bed rest or minimal activity. You will be compensated accordingly for each embryo transfer that you complete. Shortly thereafter, you will have an appointment to determine whether or not the transfer has successfully resulted in a viable pregnancy.

Pregnancy Process:

​

Initially, once pregnancy has been confirmed, you may have a couple more appointments with the fertility specialist. Typically, around 8-10 weeks of pregnancy, however, you are released to an OB/GYN. This could either be your regular OB/GYN that you routinely see or one that your Intended Parents have chosen and are comfortable with. This doctor will see you through the rest of your pregnancy and delivery up until after your post-pregnancy check-up. Once a viable pregnancy has been confirmed, you will begin receiving your base compensation. And in due time, you and your Intended Parents will work together to develop and build a birthing plan that allows them to be as involved as everyone is comfortable with throughout the entire process. Regular communication throughout this phase will be key to a joyful surrogacy journey for all parties involved.
